Epsilon Chapter

In the Fall of 1998, seven students at Our Lady of the Lake University began to search for an organization that promoted service to the community, respected their Latino heritage and offered an opportunity to develop lifelong bonds of sisterhood. Their quest ended with Alpha Rho Lambda Sorority, Inc./ Alianza de Raíces Latinas.

On April 24, 1999, these women founded the sorority’s Epsilon Chapter, providing an effective and meaningful outlet for women in and around San Antonio who are dedicated to community service and share our mutual desire to develop fellowship among women who seek an academic and emotional support network.

Epsilon Chapter’s Founding Hermanas are:

Victoria Vanessa Ruiz
Hortencia Morales
Alexandra Saldana
Amy Denise Aleman
Lorena Navar Gutierrez
Monica Espinoza
Selena Michelle Baeza
